All of our Glasshouses are designed and built in the UK by our highly experienced team of experts, using industry leading manufacturing techniques. We only use the highest quality materials, with powder coated quartz grey aluminium frames which are designed to stand the test of time.
Surrounding our frames is a heavy duty Accoya wood which comes with a 50 year guarantee; such is our confidence in its longevity. Accoya really is the perfect surface for glasshouses on account of this longevity which is founded on the fact that it is dimensionally stable. This means that it is not prone to warping or bending. It is also a naturally insulating material, which will ensure that your glasshouse retains heat in the winter and helps it remains cooler in the summer. All of which will ultimately protect your plants and crops.
The addition of the wood surface makes our glass greenhouses stand out from the competition, with the toughened safety glass being just another added benefit which shows how committed we are to producing the best quality garden glasshouses for our customers.

Garden Glasshouse FAQs
The terms are used interchangeably in the UK. A glasshouse typically refers to a structure with a more refined aesthetic, often with Accoya wood detailing and toughened glass throughout, as opposed to a basic plastic or polycarbonate growing frame. All Cultivar structures use toughened safety glass to European standards and are designed for longevity as well as performance. Design yours in the configurator.
Yes, though it works best as a supplement rather than a primary heat source in the UK climate. A solar heater can take the edge off cool nights in spring and autumn, but for reliable winter warmth an electric heater remains the most consistent option. Frames use a combination of powder-coated aluminium in Quartz Grey and a heavy duty Accoya wood surround. Accoya is dimensionally stable, naturally insulating, and comes with a 50-year guarantee. It resists warping and bending, which is particularly important on larger glasshouse structures where frame movement would affect the glass fit over time.
Yes. A level, solid base is essential for a safe and long-lasting installation. Options include a concrete footing, paving slabs, or a traditional brick dwarf wall. Cultivar provides a full base plan with every order so your builder works to the exact specification required by the structure.
Aluminium staging is the most practical starting point, providing a clean, rust-free surface for seedlings and pots. Shading is worth planning early for south-facing structures in summer, and cold frames along the base extend the growing season at both ends of the year. All accessories can be configured and priced alongside the glasshouse itself.
